Please place your order at least 2 weeks in advance for custom cakes and at least 3 months in advance for wedding/tiered cakes. However, booking sooner will guarantee your date. A convenience fee will be added if your order is not placed within this timeframe.

Cake pricing starts at $150 for single cakes and $8.00 per serving for wedding/tiered cakes. The final price depends on the complexity and design.

After completing your cake inquiry, you will receive an invoice through Square to submit your payment via credit or debit card. In order to secure your order, a 50% nonrefundable retainer fee will be due. Then, the remaining balance must be paid in full one week prior to the event date or two weeks prior for weddings.

Yes! Custom cakes can be delivered within 10 miles of Frederick, MD for a $25 delivery fee, additional fees will apply for added mileage. All wedding cakes require setup and delivery, for a fee starting at $50 (final price is determined based on mileage to venue from Frederick, MD).

You have the option to add cupcakes to your cake order. At this time, we do not offer other dessert options.

Yes, you can order a quarter (serves up 22) or half (serves up to 45) sheet cake to accommodate additional guests that your main wedding cake may not serve. Sheet cakes are two layers and will be the same flavor as your wedding cake.

The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style, or flavors of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. Cancellation of your event will result in a partial to no refund. Prior to 1 month: 50% retainer will be collected by A Sweet Confession from your total payments, and the remainder will be refunded. Less than 1 month: No refund will be given. We will do everything in our power to accommodate your new date in cases of postponement. However, if a new date is not selected and confirmed prior to 3 months before your original wedding date, A Sweet Confession will assume that your event has been officially canceled, and our cancellation policy will apply.
